Privacy Policy

Operator: Tiply. Contact: use the form on /support.

Effective date: September 4, 2026.

Data we collect

  • An anonymous account created automatically on first launch (Supabase Auth anonymous user ID).
  • The display name you choose. This is user-generated and may appear on a livestream overlay when you send a gift.
  • Your SP point balance, reward claim times, and gift send events (gift name, SP amount, and a snapshot of your display name at the time).
  • On this device, a small flag that we already showed the optional iOS tracking prompt.
  • If you use optional surveys: we send your anonymous Tiply user ID and display name to the survey partner so we can credit SP. We do not receive your survey answers.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The optional Quick boost (+1 SP every 5 minutes) shows a rewarded ad from Google AdMob. The daily +5 SP reward does not use an ad.

To serve, measure, and (if you allow it) personalize those ads, Google's advertising SDK may collect identifiers and device/ad information, which can include:

  • Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS if you allow tracking; Advertising ID on Android)
  • Approximate location derived from IP address
  • Device and app information, and ad views/clicks

Google acts as an independent controller for that ad data. See Google's advertising privacy policy and how Google uses data in ads.

On iOS, the first time you send a gift we may ask if you want to allow tracking so ads can be personalized. You can tap Nah and still use Tiply and send gifts. You can also change tracking later in iOS Settings. If you decline, you may still see ads, typically less personalized.

We do not use ads to sell your Tiply display name or SP history to other companies for their own marketing.

Surveys (CPX Research)

On the Earn tab you can optionally complete short surveys to earn SP (in-app points with no cash value). You can ignore this and still use Tiply.

Surveys open in an in-app browser on a third-party offer wall operated by CPX Research and their survey partners. They are independent controllers of data they collect on that wall.

To credit SP, Tiply sends them your anonymous account ID and the display name you chose. We do not send your email, phone number, or precise location.

Your answers are collected by the survey partner, not by Tiply. We do not read answers and we do not use them to personalize ads or sell them.

Survey partners may collect identifiers, IP address, device info, and responses for fraud prevention and to run the survey. See CPX Research's privacy policy for more details.

Completing a survey may increase your SP balance via an automatic server callback. SP cannot be purchased or cashed out.

What we do not collect

  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Precise GPS location
  • Photos, camera, microphone, or contacts
  • Payment or billing information

SP points

SP is a free in-app point with no cash value. It cannot be purchased or cashed out. You can earn SP from the daily reward, Quick boost ads, arcade mini-games, and optional surveys. Watching an ad is only required for the 5-minute +1 SP boost, not for the daily reward.

How we use and share data

We use Supabase to store your Tiply account data and to broadcast gift alerts to a public livestream overlay (so a streamer can show “your display name sent a gift”).

We use Google AdMob only to show rewarded ads for the Quick boost.

We use CPX Research only to offer optional surveys that can award SP.

We do not sell your personal data.

Account deletion

In the Tiply app: Earn tab → Delete Account. This deletes the auth user, profile, display name, and SP balance. Gift alerts already shown on a stream are kept as “Someone.” Deleting your Tiply account does not delete data Google already processed for ads; use Google's tools and your device ad/tracking settings for that. Deleting your Tiply account does not delete data CPX Research or survey partners already collected. Use their site or the in-survey privacy controls for that.

Retention

Account data is kept until you delete the account or the anonymous session is lost. Reinstalling the app creates a new account.

Children

Tiply is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top will change when we do.
